About Sheena Eastwood

Hello, I’m Sheena Eastwood, founder, and writer at WokeWriter.com. I’m delighted to share my journey so far. Greetings,

A writer by heart, a seeker of stories, and a dedicated student of language.

My educational foundation was crafted within the esteemed corridors of Boston University, where I pursued and attained my MA program in English followed MA in Psychology. My academic years not only sharpened my literary skills but also ignited a lifelong passion for expression.

My professional path took me on a unique trajectory while I was still at university. I have been ghostwriting for distinguished personalities, weaving words for luminaries whose narratives have been featured in top-tier publications across the United States, the United Kingdom, and India.

As a result of this odyssey, I have been able to become part of diverse narratives and impart my craft to a wide range of personalities.

In my childhood, I grew up around middle-class Indian culture, formed by my father’s Indian roots, and later in the US, where my mother was born. This amalgamation of cultures has bestowed upon me a rich perspective and a profound understanding of the nuances of the human experience.

It is in the pages of poetry and fiction that I find my sanctuary, a world where emotions are artfully woven and stories take flight.

Some of the literary works that have left an indelible mark on me include the enchanting tales of J.K. Rowling in the Harry Potter series, the introspective journey of Matt Haig’s “The Midnight Library,” and the evocative storytelling of Fredrik Backman’s “The Lighthouse Effect.”

As I stand at the threshold of new chapters, I invite you along on this journey–a celebration of language, a celebration of narrative, and an exploration of uncharted literary territory.
